Positive ESL does more than teach English.
It also teaches you how to think like a positive person. And if you
learn the lessons well, you learn how to live as if you are great.
That's because Positive ESL has positive
self-talk from Dr. David Abbott's book, Maximum Strength Positive
Thinking. Dr. Dave reads the positive self-talk out loud, and at the
same time, you can follow what he is saying by reading the words in
English. Listen to Dr. Dave read a passage,
and then you read the same words to improve your English speaking skills. Practice
your English anytime you want, for as long as you want, simply by clicking
on the play button. You can replay the same passage
thousands of times. Each time you repeat the positive words, your
English improves and you put positive thoughts into your mind. You
become a more positive person as you learn to speak English.
Not all ESL courses are created equal. Most
courses only teach you how to say new words and construct new sentences. Positive ESL
does much more than that. It teaches you a new way of thinking so
that you become a
positive person.
How much does it cost? Absolutely
nothing. It's totally free.
You have nothing to lose and everything to
gain by learning to speak positive English.
To get started, click on the arrow and listen
to Dr. Dave as he reads each positive message. Then, read the
same passage and watch your English improve.

I will
live the rest of my life as if I am a great person.
I will live as if my dreams are possible and work each day to make them
happen.
It doesn’t matter if I am ten years old or ninety years old, I can still
live as if I am great. Any age is the right age to work on my dreams,
and any place is the right place to make them come true.
I don’t know how much time I have left, but in whatever times remains, I
will live as if I am great.
I will be all that I can be and do all that I can do. I will find an
area of excellence that I can develop and give to the world. Planet
earth will be a better place because I became great in one area. I can
never fail as long as I develop the excellence that I have within.
I will live the rest of my life as if I am a great person
I can make a living
or make a life. When I make a living I focus on survival. When I make
a life, I focus on my dreams.
Seven principles help me make a life:
1. I live as if I am a great person. I act as if my dreams are possible
and work each day to make them happen.
2. I think and act my new life into existence. I think new thoughts and
take new actions that result in a new life.
3. I achieve excellence in at least one area of my life.
4. I have zero tolerance to negative thinking. I don’t tolerate it in
any form or to any degree.
5. I accept no limitations. I don’t place limits on worthwhile
objectives until I do my utmost to make them happen.
6. I never quit working on my dreams. For as long as I am alive, I will
work on my dreams.
7. I
dare to call God my Father and build my life on the foundation of his
love.
The mind is the door through which I enter the world of positive
change. That’s why the Bible says, “Be transformed by the renewing of
your mind.” In order to have a new life, I need a new way of thinking.
I can change who I am by changing what I put into my mind. When I
change my mind, I change my life. This law of change never fails.
Although the wheel of change turns slowly, it always turns in the
direction of what I put into my mind. I fill my mind with positive
thoughts so that my life moves in a positive direction.
Everything I put into my mind is important, because it changes who I
am. When I put in good things, my life improves. When I put in bad
things, my life becomes worse. There are no exceptions to this law.
Positive transformation isn’t an accident; it’s something I do on
purpose. I become a positive person by putting positive things into my
mind.
I have never seen any handicap that
made excellence impossible. Although excellence may be difficult, it’s
always possible in at least one area of my life.
I can work around my physical limitations using the power of my mind.
Even when my mind is trapped in a body full of limitations, it’s still
free to pursue excellence. As long as I am alive and have the ability
to think, excellence is within my grasp.
Each limitation that I adopt is a choice I make about what is possible.
It doesn’t matter if my challenges are large or small, limitations first
happen in my mind, and I must decide whether I will accept or reject the
ones I find there.
The only absolute limit I will ever face happens on the day I die.
Until then, I won’t place limits on worthwhile objectives before I try
to make them happen. I will live as if my dreams are possible. I will
act as if I cannot fail.
I am what I think about all day long.
Whoever I am, I am that person first in my mind. Whatever I accomplish,
I accomplish it first in my mind. Whatever I become, I become it first
in my mind.
The way I use my mind defines what it means to be me. At the most basic
level, I am what I think about all day long. My mind is the only part
of me that can change or that would ever be worth changing. If I want
to change who I am, I must change the collection of thoughts that
defines what it means to be me.
What I think about is important, because it changes who I am. When I
think positive thoughts, I become a more positive person. When I think
empowering thoughts, I become a stronger person. When I think
resourceful thoughts, my life moves in the direction of excellence, and
I become a better person. When I think unlimited thoughts, I realize
there is no limit to how good my life can become.
I become what I think about all day long.
The Law of Focus
states that what I think about expands into my life. The only way for
dreams to come true is for them to expand from my thoughts.
Dreams start as a seed planted in my mind, and that seed grows into a
dominant thought which takes over. When my mental focus is positive, it
brings good things into my life. When the focus is negative, it brings
misery. I focus on positive thoughts so that good things come into my
world.
I can’t predict how long it will take for focus to work its magic.
Nevertheless, I know that if I think positive thoughts, they will
eventually expand into my world.
The Law of Focus is immutable. If I maintain a positive focus, it’s
inevitable that I will become a more positive person. When I struggle
with negative and limiting thoughts, I need to know that this law never
fails.
No matter how far down or discouraged I may be, this law always delivers
what it promises. Positive focus always transforms my life in a
positive direction. There is no reason to surrender to fear or
despair. What I think about expands at every age and stage of life.
Even if I am one-hundred years old, the power of positive focus will
still bring good things into my life.
I will live as if I am a great person.
I will practice being great each day of my life.
I have only one life, and I may as well make it a great one. I have
little to lose and much to gain by living as if I am great. I will live
as if my dreams are possible and work each day to make them happen.
Practice is the path to greatness. I will practice doing the things
that great people do. I will find out what they do, how they do it, and
I will do the same thing.
Greatness doesn’t come suddenly. It happens one day at a time as I
persistently move in the direction of my dreams. It’s something I do
every day, all day long. My path to greatness is always under
construction.
God designed me to live as if I am a great person. There is no preset
limit to how far I can go or how good my life can become.
What I think about matters. Negative
and limiting thoughts create a chemical imbalance in my brain and make
me feel bad. Positive and unlimited thoughts restore the normal
chemical balance, and I feel good once again.
What I think about determines the chemistry of my brain. When I think
anxious thoughts, I create the chemistry of anxiety, and I become
anxious. When I think depressing thoughts, I create the chemistry of
depression, and I become depressed.
I am responsible for the chemistry of my brain. When I choose my
thoughts, I choose my chemistry. When I change my thoughts, I change my
chemistry. I am not the victim of my chemistry; I am its creator. If I
don’t like my brain chemistry, I change it by changing what I put into
my mind.
I will not walk the path of self-destruction by filling my mind with
negative things. I will put positive thoughts into my mind and create a
chemistry that lifts me up and supports me on the journey to my dreams.
The easiest way to push my mind in a
positive direction is to persistently focus on positive things. Four
simple steps allow me to create a consistently positive mind.
First, I turn on my Good Finder and focus on everything good in my life.
Second, I look at pictures of my dreams. I stay focused on them by
putting their picture in my memory banks.
Third, I review my Power Graphics and drive their positive message deep
into my mind.
Fourth, I recite positive self-talk to push my inner voice in a positive
direction.
These four steps are the price I pay to have a positive mind. I can
make my life as positive as I want; all I need to do is maintain a
positive focus. A persistently positive focus creates a consistently
positive mind.
When will I get better? When will my
life improve?
I am the one who decides when it will happen. The instant that I put
positive things into my mind is the exact moment it begins. Until I
think positive thoughts, it will not come to pass.
Improvement is only a thought away. I don’t need to travel on a long
pilgrimage or visit a shrine to make things better. I only need to
change the way I think.
Improvement happens in an instant. I don’t have to wait until I am
older, stronger, more intelligent, more mature, more beautiful, more
qualified, or until I graduate for things to get better. I can make
them better anytime I want, anywhere I am. All I need to do is fill my
mind with positive things.
I don’t waste my time wondering if my life will ever improve. Instead,
I make it better today by putting positive things into my mind.
